Fresh off the back of releasing his highly-praised debut album 'Patternicity' earlier this year, a record that cemented him as a bright and illuminating name on the rise, Atlanta-based artist MatAre is back to his vibrant best once again as he reemerges with his dreamy new outing 'Veinte'.
Much like what we got to experience on his recent full-length, 'Veinte' explores a warm and shimmering dream-pop aesthetic that perfectly compliments his sweeping vocal style throughout. Maintaining a fresh and enticing direction throughout his latest effort, he keeps the vibes high with his wonderfully alluring atmosphere at every turn.
Adding about 'Veinte', he said, "I wanted to present 'Veinte' as a simple 3 and a half minute song, considering the age of short attention spans and the challenge of gaining new fans."
While his first LP certainly brought a broad and diverse ambition to his material to date, 'Veinte' sees him build upon those illustrious foundations with style and aplomb throughout. Brimming with a tender approach that very few can produce earnestly, he feels like an artist we can expect to hear a lot more from in the months ahead as well.
