Debut albums don't come every day for artists who are looking to make it big; they take time and years of perfecting, all with the hope that they will be well-received. Producer Mykah has to hope no more, after his debut album 'Long Time Coming' stands its ground as a truly unforgettable project.

'Long Time Coming' thrives on flow and finesse, leaning heavily into afro-beats whilst not forgetting to highlight Mykah's effortless trademark production techniques. Starting with an atmospheric intro, the album's vibe is soon set with 'Felony', a vibrant trade-off between the colour of its melodies and the richness of its vocals. Featuring appearances from the likes of JHAE, Morrelo, and D3MY, the project navigates smooth, silk-soaked vibes like a hot knife through butter. 'Keys' and 'Water' bring an infectious light to the album, with basslines inviting you to move your body and absorb the beaming hue that the album is laying down.

Diving into what the project means to him, Mykah explains how 'Long Time Coming' is a level up for him, "This EP represents a new chapter for me as a producer. It’s been four years since my last release, and in that time I’ve grown not just in my music but as a person." Adding that, "Every track reflects the journey I’ve been on since 2020, and I’m excited to finally share that growth and energy with everyone." It's this energy that makes 'Long Time Coming' feel so special and connected, highlighting not only the unmatchable connection that Mykah has with his art, but also how he can bring the best out of different artists in a studio environment.
