Rising Irish singer-songwriter Nathan O’Regan returns with 'Better Days', a moving and intimate new ballad out now via Belfast’s Zenith Cafe Records. It marks the second single from his eagerly awaited debut album 'Olive Branch', due for release on September 19th.
Written during a period of personal transition, 'Better Days' captures the quiet strength required to hold on when the future feels uncertain. “It was written just before we had Arthur, and we were living in this tiny little house just outside of Belfast,” O’Regan shares. “It felt like we were boxed in… and we just didn’t know where a baby was even going to fit. I just wanted to tell her everything was going to be ok eventually and to keep the faith.”
The result is a beautifully crafted lullaby of reassurance, swelling with warm piano lines, gentle percussion, and O’Regan’s distinctive, soul-soaked vocals. The chorus — “There’ll be better days / The world is gonna change / Our dreams won’t go down in flames / If you can just hold on a little longer” — lands like a promise whispered through the noise of everyday chaos.
