Neb Doe's Latest Album is a Love Letter to His LA Hometown

With his inspirations from film, pop-culture, and the essence of Los Angeles culture, Neb Doe is not just an artist; he's a cultural storyteller with passions rooted in every lyric he writes.

Neb Doe's artistic style is nothing short of versatile, as he is a master of blending fun, cinematic beats with a lyrical prowess that's both witty and smooth. Neb states that as a kid, he “remembers embracing hip-hop with [his] first memories of watching music videos from Busta Rhymes, DMX, Method Man, Redman, Jay-Z and many more.” In addition to creating music authentic to him, Neb is also a film buff who’s written multiple short film scripts. In his last release, "Those Palm Trees & City Lights," Neb Doe invites listeners to embrace the city's spirit through his eyes – a journey you won't want to miss.

"Those Palm Trees & City Lights" is a 14-track sonic journey through the City of Angels, split into two distinct halves to capture the city's multifaceted charm. The first half of the album is a sun-soaked tribute to daytime in LA, with beats as warm as the California sun, perfect for cruising down Sunset Boulevard or relaxing on a rooftop overlooking the city. Listeners are invited to immerse themselves in the laid-back atmosphere of LA's daytime, with tracks that resonate with the joy of a family cookout under the palm trees.

The album then transitions into an exploration of LA's electrifying nightlife. The album’s second half is a nod to the city's after-dark persona, where the neon signs and city lights come alive. It's the soundtrack for the LA night owls – those out partying in the city, soaking up the vibrant nightlife that only Los Angeles can offer.

Fans can look forward to the release of a visual for "Rare Garments," a standout track from the album, set to drop this spring. Additionally, Neb Doe is gearing up to release a new single titled "Won't Take 2 Long" featuring Papii Red this summer, promising to add another hit to his growing repertoire.
