Rising Texas indie rock band Night Cap return with their electrifying new single 'Like That', offering a sharp, rhythmic take on emotional disillusionment. The track is the latest preview of their highly anticipated second album 'It’s Happening', set for release on September 26th.

With its shimmering guitar lines, dancefloor-ready beat, and punchy lyrical delivery, 'Like That' balances vulnerability with energy, channelling the sonic urgency of bands like Phoenix, Two Door Cinema Club, and Wallows. Frontman Ryan King describes the track as “a reflection of the moment when clarity fades — when you’re giving love, but unsure if it’s reaching the person it’s meant for.”

Produced by Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, City and Colour), 'It’s Happening' finds Night Cap embracing change in all its chaos. “This record is about letting go of certainty,” says bassist Alex Alfonso. “There’s heartbreak, identity shifts, internal reckonings — and no neat resolutions. It’s just movement, and learning to be okay with that.”
