Miist’s latest music video offers a view into everyday kindness across the globe.

Released alongside her new single “Love Will Show Us Our Way,” the video assembles clips sent by fans who responded to her request for moments of compassion in their daily lives.

The submissions arrived from living rooms, classrooms, hospitals, kitchens, and city streets. Together they form a portrait of ordinary people showing care for one another.

The release marks the beginning of The Love Project, Miist’s creative initiative for 2026. The project focuses on the role small gestures play in strengthening relationships and communities.

Miist wrote the song with Italian producer Mauro Malavasi, known internationally for his work with Andrea Bocelli. Their collaboration highlights a reflective tone that matches the visual concept of the video.

The Love Project follows Miist’s Smile Project from 2025. That initiative grew out of the song “Could You Lend Me a Smile,” which addressed loneliness through an international musical collaboration.

The track appeared in 16 language versions and involved artists connected to more than 60 GRAMMY wins and nominations.

Miist’s work often blends music with broader storytelling. Her podcast, Make Me Smile with Miist, has reached the Top 10 among mental health podcasts in the United States.

Each episode concludes with a brief prompt encouraging listeners to perform a small act that improves their relationships with others.

These ideas will soon appear in her forthcoming book Make Me Smile with Miist®, which translates the podcast’s concepts into short chapters.

Miist also founded the nonprofit World Smile Initiative, which develops tools designed to combat social isolation. One example is the Kindness Kube™, an object offering daily reminders to express gratitude and compassion.

Her personal journey provides context for these projects. Miist experienced childhood abandonment and later survived a severe illness in her twenties.

Songwriting emerged later as a form of reflection and eventually developed into a catalog of more than 100 songs.

Along the way she became the first native Chinese artist to reach Billboard’s Top 25 Pop/AC chart and has earned several additional chart placements.

With “Love Will Show Us Our Way,” Miist introduces a new phase in her work that invites listeners to look closely at everyday interactions.

Through The Love Project, she continues encouraging people to practice simple gestures that bring communities closer together.
