Reciprocity Nexus delivers bright new album ‘Family Portraits Vol. 4’

Reciprocity Nexus has released the fourth chapter in his staple album series ‘Family Portraits’. Continuing on his journey of delving into new music ideas through a solo lens, the project features fourteen tracks, each one showcasing uplifting songwriting. In ‘Don’t Rain But It Pours’, listeners are treated to a warm nostalgia with gleaming organ melodies and swaying vocals. ‘Deux Ex Machina’ leans into a gritty singer-songwriter aesthetic and ‘All’s Well That Ends Well’ features a bright and bluesy shine. No matter which track you pick Reciprocity Nexus showcases a wonderful world observation, without taking himself too seriously.

The artist shares, “The fourth instalment in the ‘Family Portraits’ franchise. More snapshots in time from family life. Moments good, bad and indifferent. The joy and the pain. The exhilarations...and disappointments. The ups and downs. The full picture of life led amongst your kin. As the saying goes, "you can choose your friends...””

Aside from the Reciprocity Nexus project, London-based songwriter Hendrik Kleinmiede is also one half of the virtual band The Third Space, alongside Joe Farthing. Through Reciprocity Nexus, Hendrik explores both his songwriting and the influences of his peers, leading to a string of album and EP releases since his debut in 2019.
