RUBY DICE SHARES FIERY SINGLE ‘MOVE ON COWBOY’ AND DEBUT ALBUM ‘NOT IN LOVE’


Ruby Dice is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has been steadily gaining recognition for her electrifying, genre-defying sound that incorporates elements of soul, blues, and pop.


Her recent track, "Move On Cowboy," is a fiery offering. The song has a country and Americana music mix with a playful production. The song is about a man who wouldn't accept her rejection to dance with him after she left the stage. She recorded this song in the finishing school with Gordy Quist handling the production. Ruby Dice says in regards to the song, "'Move on Cowboy' is a song about standing your ground when someone is being a bully and doing it in a witty way."


When the COVID-19 worldwide pandemic hit and travel was prohibited, Ruby Dice committed herself only to her music. She was able to devote all of her concentration to writing as she tried to convey life via words and music. She was prepared to produce an album after composing for a year and a half. Gordy Quist, who chose members of his own band (Band Of Heathens) as the backup band along with the vocalists' band members, was the ideal choice to produce Dice's debut album, Not In Love. The record's opening love tale concludes in a breakup. The lyrics speak about her private life and her connection to Calloway Ritch, her guitarist.
