Seán Griffin proves once again why he’s one of the Northeast’s most compelling musical voices with his latest single 'Rocks Off'. Following the contemplative shuffle of 'People Are Mad', Griffin flips the switch entirely, delivering a track that bursts with unrestrained rock energy, bouncy guitars, and a propulsive rhythm section that immediately grabs your attention. What makes this single so magnetic is his ability to fuse clever lyricism with a visceral sense of fun, turning the chaos of modern life into a sing-along anthem brimming with personality.

The newly-dropped accompanying video is a masterclass in retro-infused surrealism. Opening with a stifled commuter trapped in traffic, the narrative quickly shifts into a dazzling daydream as a pristine 1962 Corvette appears, launching Griffin’s vision into a kaleidoscope of cinematic vignettes. Fireside romance, rose-petal flurries, and Old Hollywood glamour collide, balancing escapist fantasy with the grounding presence of family. This visual tension mirrors the song itself as a meditation on desire, ambition, and the everyday anchors that keep us sane.

Recorded with Grammy-winning producer Kenny Siegel, mixed by alt-rock icon Paul Kolderie, and mastered by the legendary Greg Calbi, 'Rocks Off' is both a statement of artistic confidence and a taste of what’s to come on his forthcoming debut solo album. Decades into his career, Seán demonstrates that he can honour his Irish roots, channel punky swagger, and craft rock anthems that feel immediate and timeless.
