Silver Jack reflects on the times with new single ‘Tired’ and drops third full-length album

Nina Simone once said that it was an artist’s duty to reflect the times. This was what propelled Silver Jack in his latest single, ‘Tired’. Arriving in response to the tumultuous current times that we live in, the track holds up a mirror to current events. 

Hailing from India but London-based, Silver Jack’s global artistry reflects in his music. He aims to always create art with a meaning, making music that truly reflects life. ‘Tired’ is a culmination of what most of us are feeling right now; emotional undertones bolster sultry production qualities, as visceral vocals lead you through the ebbs and flows of feelings of affliction.

According to Silver Jack, it was like ‘Tired’ came to him almost automatically, he shares, “I was living in Acton in London when I came up with it. It hit me– there I was, living in one of the biggest economically and politically important metropolitans in the world, and I was experiencing first-hand the global effects of major wars playing out around me.”  

The release of ‘Tired’ is accompanied by a self-directed music video, starring the artist himself. Silver Jack stands on a sweeping landscape of sepia and beige tones; the stark backdrop allows Silver Jack to shine center stage, exposing the vulnerable and human quality of the track. 

Bedroom artist to self-made musician, Silver Jack took the reins on all production, vocals, and composition elements himself. He crafts a sound that is truly him, through and through – and he is only just getting started.
