Sleep Walking Animals showcase their eclectic, alternative sound on their self-titled EP

Not ones to shy away from taking their sound into new sonic realms, Sleep Walking Animals have hit upon a formula that sets them apart from the crowd. Fusing the rugged sounds of indie and progressive rock with more ethereal influences such as folklore and mythology, the band’s sound reaches far and wide with complex baroque pop elements, driven by harmony and a youthful yearning.

Discussing the EP, Sleep Walking Animals share: “This is our debut EP. It’s a collection that spans across two years, from our genesis to present day. In that respect, It’s an album about growth. These are some of the first tunes we ever wrote and recorded, and there’s a lot in that. We didn’t try to force a concept or anything, each song holds a moment of birth, and they are the things that brought us and the album together”.
