Snack Villain releases new single 'Coyote Super Genius'

Snack Villain has released a new single entitled ‘Coyote Super Genius’, a track that blends jazzy, laid-back drums reminiscent of J-Dilla, layers of a floating keys, a laid back bass, and a saxophone lead. The track uses interesting production elements and arrangement to have us transfixed, with elements sounding both human and robotic.


On the new release, Snack Villain shares that the track is, “a deep dive into smooth jazz sounds, meant to evoke a nostalgic breezy summer's day. Combining influence from '90s jazz-hop and modern lo-fi.”


Snack Villain is the producer alias of Glasgow-based multi-instrumentalist, Adam Skirving. The project allows Skirving to have freedom in creativity and incorporate his love for a wide range of genres into his music. His production skills have seen acclaim from many tastemakers and fans alike, his style now honed in on the sounds lo-fi, hip-hop, house and downtempo, bringing together these diverse aspects in each of his releases.
