London based alternative R&B pop artist Tala Yunis has announced her sophomore EP All IN TIME, arriving alongside the release of her new single 'God's Favourite'.
The project marks a significant step forward for the rising artist, who continues to gain international attention following sync placements on shows including Love Is Blindand Ginny & Georgia.
Yunis brings a distinct global perspective to her music. Born in Palestine, raised in Israel and now based in London, her work reflects a personal history shaped by movement, identity and cultural duality. After relocating to the United Kingdom at 21 to pursue music, she has steadily built a presence within the alternative pop space, blending introspective songwriting with genre fluid production.
As an openly LGBT artist, Yunis explores themes of identity and self discovery in her work. Her background places her at a complex cultural intersection, offering a perspective that moves beyond political narratives and into lived experience. Through her music, she frames questions of belonging and coexistence with a focus on vulnerability and storytelling.
Her latest single 'God's Favourite' introduces the sonic direction of All IN TIME. The track combines R&B elements with confessional bedroom pop, layering autotuned vocals over acoustic guitar, lo fi textures, synth washes and bass driven production. The result is a sound that balances mainstream appeal with emotional depth.
Speaking about the single, Yunis said: “Most creatives who chase a bigger calling experience days where inspiration hits and they feel on top of the world, only to hit rock bottom the next day. God’s Favourite captures the journey of creatives striving for something greater, where, on the road to glory, they find themselves facing hurdles, doubts, and little belief. Yet that little belief is enough to get them up the next day and try again. I wrote God’s Favourite at a time when I felt this might never happen for me, but the little belief I had was enough for me to hold on and write God’s Favourite for all those who are on the same path as me. To support the release, I have content planned around the song, have nominated it for the Youth Music Awards, and will be running Meta ads to maximise its exposure.”
Influenced by artists such as Dominic Fike and 070 Shake, Yunis blends alternative pop with R&B to create an immersive and emotionally resonant sound. The upcoming EP explores themes of love, heartbreak, growth and identity, offering an intimate portrait of her artistic evolution.
Yunis has already built momentum as an independent artist. In 2024, she received editorial recognition from The Face and support from Spotify UK’s Fresh Finds playlist. Her live profile has also grown following performances at The Great Escape festival and sold out headline shows in Brighton, alongside backing from BBC Introducing.
Discussing the upcoming EP, Yunis said: “While making this EP, my priority was to move away from indie music sonically and reconnect with the sounds I grew up on. I’ll always love indie, but it was heavily shaped by my time in Brighton. After moving to London, I felt ready to experiment with styles and genres I genuinely listen to, drawing inspiration from artists like Justin Bieber’s 2014 era, SZA and 070 Shake. This EP is about giving listeners a raw, more mature version of me. Over the past couple of years, I’ve really outgrown my old identity and become more comfortable with my sexuality and how I present myself. That growth shaped everything — lyrically and sonically. I wanted the music to reflect who I am now, honestly and unapologetically, and to let people truly feel that evolution through the songs.”
