London bedroom-pop duo Tree Trunks are back with 'Hold Me', the first glimpse of their upcoming second album 'Hot Fruit', out 6th March 2026.
Taking its name (but not its sound) from the Fleetwood Mac track, 'Hold Me' explores the daily balancing act between work, family, and the basic human need for connection. Inspired by the surreal, homespun lyricism of Haruomi Hosono’s “Sports Men”, frontman Sam Lewis crafts a heartfelt meditation on routine and longing.
Despite its themes of domestic weight, the track shimmers with upbeat, off-kilter charm, blending ’80s-tinged nostalgia with intelligent indie-pop sensibilities. Fans of Panda Bear, Kindness, or early Hot Chip will find plenty to love here.
