US newcomers Grace & Moji introduce themselves with the majestic debut single 'Our Love'

With a love and affinity for 2000s indie bands such as Flaming Lips, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, and The National, husband and wife duo Grace & Moji are now looking to take those nostalgic vibes and reinvent them for a modern ear as they deliver their spellbinding debut single 'Our Love'.

Capturing some wonderfully warm and wistful aesthetics throughout this initial offering, the pair make light work of his rich and heartfelt introduction to their sound. With a beautifully arranged composition that heightens their immersive vocals from start to finish, 'Our Love' gets things started in an incredibly fresh and tantalising way for them.

Speaking about the new project, the band's Martin Wave said, "This project is, by far, the most personal and honest one I've ever worked on. It’s allowed me to widen my perspective on the creative process and what it means to fully be yourself while letting the world watch."

While Grace Hong added, “We got married really quickly and had to get to know each other under unusual circumstances, and it brought up a lot that I needed to face within myself. I feel so fortunate that we were able to cultivate a space where we could explore the more unconscious dynamics within our relationship. I hope our process inspires couples to feel safe communicating more honestly in their relationships.”

It may be their only piece of new material so far, but 'Our Love' stands as a brilliantly conceived introduction to their sound, brimming with warmth and an embracing atmosphere throughout. They may not be household names yet, but with music this good, it is surely only a matter of time.
