Victoria Vilalta strikes a chord with 'Out Loud Thoughts'

Hailing from Catalonia, Victoria Vilalta is back with her new indie-folk project, 'Out Loud Thoughts'. A defiant selection of hearty storytelling, vulnerability, and new-age folk songwriting, the nine-track lands as a vast experiment of emotion and feeling. Inspired by the world around her, and true-to-life experiences, 'Out Loud Thoughts' hopes to cement Vilalta as an exciting one to watch for 2026.

Speaking about the project, she explains, “‘Out loud thoughts’ was created in London studios. It was self-written and self-produced, relating the songs’ meanings to their sound. It entails collaborations with other musicians in writing some of the tracks and recording most of them. Each song conveys an emotion, ideas or values that are important to me. I always understood music as emotion.”
