Wavy Banx unveils irresistible hip-hop album ‘What Would Wavy Do?’

Hailing from Northern Carolina, Wavy Banx, is a rapper and songwriter who developed a passion for music early in life. Spending his childhood years playing drums and freestyling with friends, he built a strong musical foundation. Since making his debut in 2020, he has been steadily rising, releasing five albums in five years. Now, with his latest project, ‘What Would Wavy Do?’ he looks to garner more attention in the music scene. 

The nine-track project is driven by bouncing basslines and powerful percussion, all brought together by Wavy’s smooth and confident flow. The album offers a seamless fusion of nostalgic influences and fresh sounds, building a vibrant atmosphere. Wavy shares, “I want people to have an outlet and enjoy themselves while listening to this project.”

Speaking about his most recent release, Wavy shares, “With my last project being centred in growth and healing, this project is about me getting back to being myself, talking my talk, and just having fun. Hence the title "What Would Wavy Do", bringing me back to the high-on-life feeling I had when I first started making music.”
