On ‘Naive’, Weaux trades the funk-laced nostalgia of his previous work for something sleeker and more nocturnal. Lifted from his forthcoming EP FUTURE VU, the single pulses with a mechanical urgency - all rigid drum programming and shimmering synth lines - while retaining the emotional directness that has become central to his songwriting. It’s a pivot toward futurism that feels deliberate rather than cosmetic.

Self-written and produced, the track thrives in its contrasts. Heavy, robotic beats anchor the song in darker territory, yet the chorus opens outward with a luminous, almost euphoric lift. There’s a clear lineage to contemporary synth-pop revivalism, but Weaux avoids imitation by injecting theatrical nuance into the production. The result is danceable but introspective - pop built as much for solitary reflection as for crowded rooms.

Lyrically, ‘Naive’ circles the disorientation of growing up, grappling with nostalgia while attempting to step forward. His tenor moves between featherlight falsetto and processed AutoTune textures, embodying the tension between vulnerability and self-protection. As a preview of FUTURE VU, it signals an artist sharpening his aesthetic - embracing the future without abandoning emotional clarity.
