Zeroz unveil anime-inspired rock anthem ‘The Stupid Song’

Returning with their first single since the release of their debut studio album in 2023, anime-inspired noise-rock outfit Zeroz return with their latest anthem ‘The Stupid Song’

The single opens with a roaring charge alongside a sticky ‘So Stupid’ chant. Bringing an almost shoegazed sound to the airwaves, the group display their vast creative tendencies with this boundary-pushing new anthem. Fusing the raucous grunge with the futuristic edge of hyper-pop, ‘The Stupid Song’ showcases a group that are at the forefront of defying genre conventions.

“The single is inspired by the cult anime favourite Evangelion where the character Asuka Langley Soryu insults co-character Shinji Ikari, calling him ‘stupid’ whilst repeatedly asking him "Are you stupid?"
