Devon-based alt-rock quartet 3 Days of Wonder have unveiled their latest single, 'Maniacs', further cementing their reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging acts. The teenage band, known for their anthemic, 80s-influenced sound and high-energy live shows, has quickly garnered recognition, winning Best New Artist 2025 at the Devon Music Awards, Best Artist 2024 at Powderham Live!, and Best Newcomer 2023 at Smart Radio 101.
Drawing from influences as diverse as Foo Fighters, The Police, Big Country, and U2, 3 Days of Wonder have been praised for a maturity beyond their years. Their music combines biting social commentary with intricate hooks and infectious melodies, creating a sound that is both polished and undeniably raw. 'Maniacs' continues this trajectory, delivering a surge of distorted guitars, commanding vocals, and anthemic production that makes the track impossible to ignore.
On the meaning behind the single, the band explains: “‘Maniacs’ explores the idea of a volatile, all-consuming love in which an individual is trapped in a world of chaos and desperation that at the same time is vital for survival.”
3 Days of Wonder have already shared festival mainstages with acts including Razorlight, Feeder, Supergrass, Happy Mondays, The Farm, and Nathan Dawe, building a dedicated following across the UK. With growing support from BBC Introducing, the band appears poised to make a significant impact on the national alt-rock scene.
'Maniacs' is available now on all major streaming platforms.
