When Brooklyn-based artist Sarah Mickey collaborated with Jordan Popky for her latest single 'Hair Care' earlier this year, she was just giving the world a small taste of what she had planned for herself. Now delivering her debut solo single 'Without', she is establishing herself as one of the more exciting names emerging right now.
Lifted from her forthcoming debut EP 'Imposter Syndrome', which is due out in May, 'Without' begins her journey in a rich and explosive way. Starting off with a warm and humbled acoustic-led introduction, the track quickly picks up pace and intensity to unleash a bold and driven pop-rock belter, brimming with exciting tenacity throughout.
Things may only just be beginning for the young New Yorker, but 'Without' makes for such an impressive introduction, it'll already be hard to top. Very rarely do we get to be at the forefront of a new artist blossoming, but Sarah Mickey already feels like a name we are going to be hearing a lot more from in the months to come.
