Ever since he first emerged with his breakthrough debut single 'Obsession' in 2021, Tel Aviv-based artist JUNO VINE has quickly begun to reemerge as one of the more alluring names on the rise today. Returning at the start of the year with his widely-praised sophomore outing 'FEVER', he is back on the grind once again to deliver his powerful new offering '2020'.
Set as the second cut to be lifted from his forthcoming debut album, which is due out in the months ahead, '2020' makes for an incredibly powerful and immersive return for the artist. Influenced by the global shake-up the pandemic had on the world that year, he is looking to contemplate the wider implications those events will have on us in the years ahead, making for an incredibly thought-provoking listen.
Adding in this warm and effervescent progression to the production as well and '2020' comes across as a truly innovative addition to his fast-growing catalogue to date. Rarely finding a moment not to add in some textured atmosphere to his latest single, there is something brilliantly affecting about his newest work, something that we hope we hear plenty more of when his new LP finally drops.
