Los Angeles newcomers LED arrive with 'Lies All Lies', a three-minute adrenaline spike that leaves little doubt about their intentions. Equal parts radio-ready sheen and garage-floor grit, the track launches with a jagged guitar motif before catapulting into a chorus you’ll accidentally hum while making coffee tomorrow.

Vocalists Edie Yvonne and Layne Olivia command the centre with a grainy, elastic delivery, while the rhythm section punches holes through the mix, forcing the song ever forward. It’s the sort of razor-edged pop-rock that recalls early Paramore or Royal Blood, but LED coat it in a slick West-Coast gloss that keeps everything fluorescent rather than grimy.

For an outfit with zero back-catalogue, LED sound startlingly self-assured. The arrangement is tight, the hooks feel lived-in, and the production walks that fine line between polish and punch. If this single is any metric, the band already know exactly where they’re headed, and they’re flooring it.
