Rising indie-pop artist Lucy Frost has unveiled her new single 'Prescription', a raw and cathartic track that delves into the addictive grip of toxic love. Blending cinematic textures with confessional songwriting, the Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter offers a powerful first taste of her upcoming album.

Framed around the metaphor of love as a prescription, the track captures the tension between comfort and harm. Produced by Nick Schmidt, Mosaic, and Graham Maola, the song builds from a gentle unease to an emotional flood, mirroring the release of buried anxieties.

Frost describes the track as “the sonic form of anxiety and discomfort bubbling up to the surface,” and its emotional authenticity is palpable. Influenced by artists like Jeff Buckley, Billie Eilish, and Bob Dylan, her songwriting marries introspection with sharp wit, earning her acclaim across both coasts with performances at Hotel Cafe, Harvard & Stone, and The Burren.
