French-British artist, songwriter, and multimedia storyteller LX8 (Henry Chebaane) returns with his latest release, “Ghosts of Sound – TANIT TRANCE ANTHEM,” a euphoric dance track blending trance, melodic techno, and Mediterranean-inspired instrumentation. Featuring shimmering synth pads, darbouka drums, Berber flute, and oud, the track transports listeners from coastal Lebanon to the Maghreb and Ibiza, immersing them in the mystical world of ancient Carthage and the Phoenician goddess Tanit.
The track is a multi-layered musical journey tied to LX8’s graphic novel series, THE PANHARMONION CHRONICLES. Inspired by the novel Ghosts of Sound, the story follows Alex Campbell, a multi-cultural female composer and DJ, as she travels back to the 19th century to empower a community of immigrants with electronic music against a tyrannical regime. The trance anthem mirrors this narrative, blending euphoric melodies with layered harmonies and immersive textures, rewarding repeated listens with new discoveries.
A newcomer to the EDM scene, LX8 channels four decades of house and trance influences into a unique musical identity described as “a sonic quest into human consciousness and the nature of reality”. Beyond music, Henry Chebaane creates, writes, and directs his own visuals, designing immersive experiences that complement his audio storytelling.
“Ghosts of Sound – TANIT TRANCE ANTHEM” invites listeners to dance, reflect, and embark on a mystical journey across time and culture. A track where trance music becomes both escapism and storytelling, bridging imagination and reality in a truly unique way.
