UK five-piece Mamas Gun have released their stirring new single 'Food For The Flames', a rich and reflective track recorded direct to analogue tape. Built around a slow-burning groove and a falsetto-led vocal, the song explores the work and warmth needed to keep love alive, using fire as a metaphor for emotional connection.
Co-written by guitarist Terry Lewis and frontman Andy Platts, the track has already won over audiences during the band’s recent global tour. Bassist Cameron Dawson calls it “a special one… the sort that sends shivers.”
Known for their signature blend of vintage soul and modern songwriting, Mamas Gun continue to evolve their sound with depth and heart. 'Food For The Flames' arrives ahead of their biggest UK tour to date, with more global tour dates to be announced soon.
