My Life As A Moth returns with 'Time Thief', a compelling glimpse into the fractured perception of time under anxiety. From the first moments, the single swirls with a mix of pulsating rhythms, warped textures, and playful yet unsettling found sounds, creating a landscape that feels both intimate and expansive.

Built from humble guitar sketches at her kitchen table, 'Time Thief' transforms everyday objects (from washing machines to scraping surfaces) into instruments of experimentation. The production, guided by Keir Adamson and Ellie Mason, layers these textures with precision, crafting a chaotic yet deliberate soundscape reminiscent of Björk’s inventive spirit and the dark playfulness of Siouxsie and the Banshees. Despite the complexity, My Life As A Moth’s vocals remain strikingly human, cutting through the layers with clarity and emotional resonance.

The song is a kaleidoscopic meditation on existence within the constraints of anxiety, capturing that feeling of living simultaneously in multiple timelines; the life you’re inhabiting and the one you imagine you could have. Its experimental textures, off-kilter percussion, and inventive flourishes elevate it from a simple alternative anthem to a fully realised emotional experience.

With 'Time Thief', My Life As A Moth stakes her claim as an artist unafraid to explore the tension between vulnerability and innovation. It’s a single that invites us into her singular world, and sets the stage for her forthcoming album 'The Parade Of The Starlet & The Broken Hearted'.
