Oriel Poole teams up with co-writers for a spellbinding rendition of "Scream"

A radical reinterpretation from the LA-based talent

Los Angeles singer-songwriter Oriel Poole has returned with an entrancing acoustic arrangement of her recent single "Scream".

Assisted by the song's co-writers, Nicole Wilson and Calle Hamre, on vocals and guitar respectively, the pared-back performance adds a new twist to the composition, replacing its trip hop-inspired synthpop sonics with gentle acoustic strums and placing the spellbinding vocals front and centre.

The three artists reportedly first met at a SongWriter Camps event, where they penned the song and delivered a live rendition of it on the same day. It's a rare treat to see largely under-the-radar co-writers getting recognised for their work, and here it's clear to see what Nicole brings to this captivating track.
