Reversed melodies round out the sleek production for the beat, giving a dark city vibe to Samskara’s performance.
The artist shares a comment, “I wrote WALK TE’JO fairly quickly. The beat resonated with me and the characters rolled off my tongue. As I still have the rebel within, every now and again I need to let it loose. I think music allows everyone to invest in their own vibe. There is no right or wrong in anything.”
Samskara Rad is the recent hip-hop project of Simon Marrocco, whose original releases came as part of the progressive punk band The Mood. After that band’s time in the industry came to a close, the artist opened a yoga school, diverting his career in a new and successful direction. 25 years later, Simon made his return to music, sharing the high-energy sounds of Samskara Rad.
