Ghost Jr. Bridges Club Culture and Electronic Pop on ‘Back To You’

Belgian electronic producer and DJ Ghost Jr. continues to build momentum with ‘Back To You’, a high-energy new single released on 30 October 2026 via Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records. Blending electro-house and dance-pop with elements of his wider Trance, Techno and Eurodance influences, the release highlights an increasingly refined production identity, balancing immediate dancefloor appeal with a polished, contemporary electronic sound.
Running just under three minutes, ‘Back To You’ wastes little time establishing its presence. A buoyant, textured electro bassline provides the track’s rhythmic backbone, driven by a rubbery, bouncing pluck that gives the production its distinctive forward momentum. Rather than leaning heavily on retro references, Ghost Jr. channels his influences into a bright, expansive synth palette, with crisp vocal layers and tightly controlled electronic arrangements keeping the energy focused and accessible. The vocal performance is particularly effective, delivering a commanding pop sensibility with precise phrasing and natural vibrato that cuts cleanly through the production. The result is a streamlined club record that finds a convincing balance between melodic accessibility and dancefloor functionality.
The release marks another important step for an artist whose foundations in electronic music run deep. Born in Brasschaat, Belgium, and now based in Valencia, Spain, Ghost Jr. grew up immersed in the scene through his father, legendary Belgian DJ and producer DJ Ghost. Having progressed from bedroom production to performances at major events including Tomorrowland, Ostend Beach Festival and Fantasia Festival, he has already demonstrated an ability to translate his sound into a live setting. His Tomorrowland appearance alongside his father for the Cherry Moon Legends set further connected his developing career with Belgium’s influential dance music heritage.
With more than 300,000 streams, previous support from CLASH Magazine and September’s ‘2 Phones’ establishing his arrival on Dim Mak, Ghost Jr. is building a credible platform for his next phase. Drawing inspiration from contemporary names including Pegassi, Marlon Hoffstadt, Dimitri Vegas and Funk Tribu, he occupies an interesting space between European club culture and modern electronic pop. ‘Back To You’ reinforces that trajectory, offering a concise, energetic statement of intent ahead of his forthcoming December EP.
